  What is the motivation behind the JW org?

  the gb has recently said that the brothers are generously contributing lots of money (at gunpoint it seems!

  ) so why with a billion dollar annual income do they demand more cash?

  they have staunched the outward flow of money on paid preachers, zone overseers and bethel expenses and stalled the promised worldwide luxury buildings projects..

  Man I gotta laugh at all these sick people here laughing at someone's death. Just cause you don't agree with her doesn't mean this is funny or good news. Thats some messed up shtt right there.
  

  How many of you grew up in the hood? Probably none of you. I did. I have seen some crazy shtt in my life. Drivebys, gangbangers, crack dealers, MS13, j6 crew, bloods, crips, la Raza up in my school, killing and shooting people like this was some video game. None of them had legal guns just like the terrorists that shot up Paris a few months ago. You think you can just ask them to turn their guns in and they'll be like sure man here's my gun? Come to my city and it will make you a believer real fast why you need a gun. Believe that.

  The police can't do jack up in here to protect anyone. Call the police that someone broke in your house and you'll be lucky they come in 30 minutes if they come at all.

  Proof of any Dragons

  we read in revelation about satan being the dragon, but aren't dragons mythological creatures?.

  Just threw away...

  so even though i don't drive much because public transit is so good where i live (and parking is a living nightmare), i always had a paper taped onto my glove box that said "no blood transfusions - jehovahs witness.

  see legal documentation in wallet.

  going through this "wake up" process as been a very crazy, emotional experience.

  i found the following story while researching the jw mindset and subsequent behavior due to their weekly exposure to mind control techniques.

  the story is a bit old but it does speak volumes in terms of the mental anguish the average jw teen must endure as a jw.

  I didn't read the whole thing but I remember back in '96 or '97 a young 17 year old kid from my hall laid down on the train tracks and killed himself. It turned out he was gay and his mother told him to straighten out or leave. That was all it took.

  There's this crazy dude at my work and he's been pimping flat earth theory to everyone. He has literature, videos, quotes from the Quran, and all kinds of crazy ass stuff and it is amazing how much conviction this dude has. But I'm with WTWizard on this tho. Peace.

  I remember back in the day when you would see someone with a NO Blood card and you knew right away they were JWs. There was a brother in my old hall who had these NO Blood keyrings made and he was selling them for $30. We all knew he paid $5 to have them made. Always looking to make a buck off a brother.   How to spot faders or "closeted" apostates in a congregation / meeting?

  so i am awoken for several years now (never really bought the cool aid) but for family reasons i am still enduring everything.

  but my wife knows ... .

  anyway so yesterday we had this boring meeting and as i was sitting there trying to make time pass faster i looked around me and i thought who else feels the same as me and is completely bored?
